Every establishment has to maintain an official
"Complaints Book" which is regularly
controlled by the Authorities.
In Portugal establishments are free to fix their
own prices.
Children under 8 years old are entitled to 50%
discount on full meals and extra bed if sleeping
in the same room as adults.
Extra bed in a room is charged at the rate of 25%
or 30% according to the category of the establishment.
